Artisan Roastery
One step separates you from a cup of specialty coffee, artisan-roasted for you.
Everything you need to know about our specialty coffee, from ordering to your cup.
If you prefer delicate and fruity flavors, try medium-light roast varieties like Costa Rica Tarrazu. For an intense taste and creamy body, choose a dark roast espresso such as Colombia Huila. Each bag includes tasting notes and brewing suggestions.
Artisan roasted beans maintain their optimal flavor for 3–4 weeks from the roast date. We recommend storing them in an airtight container, away from light and heat. Our bags have a one-way valve to release excess carbon dioxide.
For medium-light roast varieties, pour-over methods (V60, Chemex, Aeropress) highlight acidity and floral notes. Espresso and milk-based drinks work excellently with dark roasts. Each product page has specific suggestions.
We ship via express courier throughout Romania within 1–2 business days from placing the order. For orders over 150 lei, shipping is free. You will receive a tracking link after dispatch.
Of course. If you are not satisfied with the flavor, you can return the sealed bag within 14 days. We refund the full amount as soon as the package reaches us. Your opinion matters – every piece of feedback helps us improve our selection.

This document establishes the exact meaning of the terms used within the Toughtoddler online store – Artisanal Specialty Coffee Roastery, to eliminate any ambiguity related to offers, descriptions, and sales conditions.
By "specialty coffee" we mean green coffee beans that have achieved a minimum score of 80 points out of 100 according to the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) standards, evaluated by a certified Q-Grader. Each commercialized lot is accompanied by a traceability sheet that certifies the origin, altitude of cultivation, processing method, and sensory profile.
The tasting notes mentioned in the product descriptions (floral, citrus, dark chocolate, caramel, red fruits, honey) are the result of sensory evaluation conducted by our team of roasters and an internal tasting panel. These represent an indicative guide to the dominant aromas, and individual perception may vary depending on the brewing method, grind fineness, water temperature, and bean freshness.
All coffee beans are roasted in small batches, of a maximum of 12 kg, in a digitally controlled rotating drum roaster. The roast date is printed on each bag, and the recommended shelf life is 60 days from this date, provided it is stored in the original sealed packaging, in a cool, dry place, away from direct light.
Each product is accompanied by detailed information about the origin of the beans: country, region, farm or cooperative, altitude of cultivation, botanical variety, and processing method (washed, natural, honey, etc.). This data comes directly from the producer and is verified through import documents and certificates of origin.
For each product, one or more brewing methods are suggested (espresso, pour-over, Aeropress, filter, French press, etc.), based on the sensory profile and roast level. These recommendations are indicative and do not guarantee an identical result under any brewing conditions.
All orders are packed in resealable bags with a one-way valve and shipped in corrugated cardboard boxes to protect the integrity of the beans during transport. The estimated delivery time is 2-4 business days for Romania, starting from the day after the order confirmation.
Due to the perishable nature of the products, returning coffee is only possible in the case of quality defects found at the time of opening the packaging (for example, moldy beans, unpleasant smell, infestations). Any complaint must be accompanied by a photo of the product and the order number, sent by email within 48 hours of delivery.
Every bag of coffee reflects our careful work: from bean selection to artisanal small-batch roasting.
You know exactly where the beans come from – Ethiopia, Colombia, Costa Rica – and how they were processed. Each batch has its own story.
We don't roast large stocks. Batches are small and fresh, delivered within a maximum of 7 days from roasting, to keep the flavors intact.
Each bag comes with precise recommendations for grind size, temperature, and extraction time, tailored to your preferred method.
Our bags preserve the freshness of the beans and allow natural degassing, without letting oxygen in.
We ship orders within 24–48 hours, in protective packaging that prevents bean damage during transport.
